“I love you Piolooooo!!!!”

This famous line from a popular soda commercial in the early 2000s not only cemented Piolo Pascual’s status as a hottie, but also opened doors for the girl who said it.

the antipatika turned faney charmed everyone, and that’s how Toni Gonzaga became a household name.

It also led her to Pinoy Big Brother Housewhich she hosted for 16 years.

In February 2022, Toni left Bahay ni Kuya after receiving backlash for publicly supporting political candidate Rodante Marcoleta, who was one of the key people who strongly decided to shut down ABS-CBN by refusing his franchise.

There was also speculation about his supposed transfer to Manny Villar’s media company, Advanced Media Broadcasting System Inc. (AMBS)who recently acquired the frequencies of ABS-CBN.

There is no official statement from Toni yet.

Television and film career

In 1997, 13-year-old Toni joined and won Metropop Star Search, a singing competition in GMA-7. It was four years before she starred in the 2001 commercial with Piolo.

Fast forward to 2002, after her line in the commercial became a catchphrase, she was tapped to become one of the longest running lunchtime show hosts. Eat Bulaga!.

She also became a regular cast member of the network teleseries Habang Kapiling Ka, who played Oyo Boy Sotto and Angelika dela Cruz.

In 2004, Toni became the host of Wazzup, Wazzup, a comedy news show at Studio 23, featuring Vhong Navarro and Archie Alemania.

Toni got her biggest break when she transferred to ABS-CBN in 2005.

She was chosen as the main animator of the popular reality show Pinoy Big Brother (PBB), which she hosted for 16 years old.

The same year, Toni also joined the Sunday musical variety show as quickly as possibleand played her very first leading role in a film titled otherswhere she was paired with Vhong Navarro.

The following year, she landed her first starring role in a television series when she played the female lead opposite Luis Manzano in Crazy of you.

She also starred in the movie You are the only one, this time with Sam Milby. She was hailed as the Princess of Filipino Films by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Foundation, Inc. (GMMSF) for the box office success of this film.

Toni then starred in several successful films.

Start again (2014) was considered the highest-grossing non-MMFF film of the year, with a huge turnover of PHP 579 million (around $11.5 million). you are my boss (2015) grossed PHP250 million at the box office (about $5 million), while This guy is in love with you Mare (2012) won 249 million PHP (about 4.9 million USD). Toni started her career as a vlogger on YouTube.

His channel”It’s not about what I do for a living, it’s about me living my best life now.”

That’s what she said in her first vlog, titled “On My Birthday”, which was released on January 20, 2019, his 38th birthday.

To date, she has 5.04 million subscribers on YouTube.

His most popular vlog to date (based on views): his interview with presidential hopeful Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. (BBM).

The video garnered 13 million views as well as reviews for its choice of questions.

Her other most watched videos: “Why Herlene ‘Hipon’ Girl Is Back To Zero”, “What Mommy Pinty Never Wants To Talk About”, “What Alex Discovered About Mikee After Their Wedding” and “What Made My Sister Cry”. “
