We are hiring a Business Design Manager to lead our Business Design and Production team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a function that has the resources, skills and capacity to meet the changing needs of the Agricultural Trust with a focus on The Irish Farmers Journal, The Irish Field, Irish Country Magazine, Irish Farmers Journal marketing events and new business functions as they arise.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design excellent print and digital assets with the goal of continually raising the level of creativity.
  • Manage direct reports and, if necessary, recruit, train, coach and develop the team.
  • Coordinate the print production and design function of weekly / monthly print and digital publications.
  • Coordinate, contribute and design new digital and print campaigns for clients.
  • Coordinate and assist in concept creation, design and delivery of marketing needs for events and all marketing requirements including merchandise, promotional material, etc.
  • Work with the Business Management team to create and implement new initiatives that align with the strategy of the Agricultural Trust.
  • Candidate requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in graphic design or similar.
  • Over five years of experience leading a design team in the media industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to design high quality advertising for print and digital platforms.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in team management.
